"My Country is Proud!" Apna School celebrated its 78th Independence Day with zeal and great enthusiasm. The chief guest, Shri Niranjan Hembram, was welcomed by the Principal, teachers, and students. Special guests included Shri Yathest Garg and Madam Garg, MD of Mangalam Coalfield Private Ltd., and SMC Chairman, Sri Somnath Sekhar. The Principal, Dr. Satyajit Hota, paid a floral tribute to the freedom fighters and hoisted the National Flag. The National Anthem was sung by the students, followed by a welcome address by the SMC Chairman, who expressed Apna School's ethics and narrated how the management has led the students from darkness to light.Dr. Hota initiated his speech by dedicating the Independence Day broadcast to the great souls who pioneered the Independence movement and the tricolor flag. He remembered them with reverence and gratitude for liberating us from centuries of foreign rule. He emphasized that sacrifice is the only way to bring prosperity and peace in the modern world. The atmosphere was filled with patriotic slogans, including "Bharat Mata ki Jai," "Vande Mataram," and "Jai Hind." The students and guests were filled with enthusiasm and pride as they celebrated India's 78th Independence Day.The patriotic songs and dances performed by the students were a highlight of the event, including a heart-touching dance-drama that depicted the life journey of a soldier, leaving the audience emotional. The event featured numerous artistic renditions presented by the students, commemorating the nation's independence and the hoisting of the national flag by the principal. The students' vibrant attire promoted unity in diversity and harmony. Dr. Satyajit Hota, Principal, emphasized the crucial role of freedom fighters in making the nation what it is today. He highlighted the importance of hard work, integrity, and values in fulfilling dreams and reminded the students of the sacrifices made by great men. Dr. Hota also emphasized the importance of serenity, sincerity, honesty, patriotism, and brotherhood. He encouraged the students to develop these qualities and unite with integrity to safeguard the nation's liberty. A display of fancy dress was performed by the students of classes Nursery to UKG, playing the roles of freedom fighters Mahatma Gandhi, Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose, Maharani Laxmi Bai, Bhagat Singh, Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar, Mangal Pandey, Chandrashekhar Azad, Baba Birsa Munda, Sidhu, Kanhu, Khudiram Bose, Phulo-Jhano, and other brave freedom fighters, fascinating the onlookers.English speeches about love for the nation were delivered by Jeetraj Shekhar of class II, Sahid Afridi of class IV, and a Hindi speech by Avni Pandey of class II and Mohit Rawani of class IV.Mr. Ashok Singh, AOP Chairman, emphasized that freedom is not a gift but is attained after numerous sacrifices. He highlighted the significant role schools play in developing patriotic feelings among students and the responsibility of teachers and students to safeguard the nation's liberty. Dr. Satyajit Hota, the school principal, emphasized that children today are the future developmental architects of India tomorrow. He emphasized that it is our responsibility to serve and preserve our independence. He highlighted the progress made in education, moving towards a knowledge society, thanks to the vision of educationalists and government policies.However, Dr. Hota noted that many children from weaker sections of society are undernourished and only a small percentage complete 8 years of satisfactory education. He stressed the need to think specifically about these children, for whom Apna School is committed to providing quality education. He emphasized that education is a fundamental right of every Indian child and that it is unacceptable for millions of children to be forced into lifelong poverty due to lack of access to quality education.Dr. Hota outlined the school's initiatives, including supervision classes in the evening to complete home assignments, integrated courses for JEE, NEET, and other competitive exams, and a commitment to providing value-based education at an affordable price. He highlighted India's rich educational heritage, citing the examples of Nalanda and Takshshila, and emphasized the need for Apna School to be a vehicle for propelling India into a knowledge society, promoting creativity and free thinking. The event concluded with a felicitation ceremony where toppers of the Periodic Test- I received prizes, and non-teaching staff were felicitated for their hard work and dedication. "मेरे देश को गर्व है!" अपना स्कूल ने अपना 78वां स्वतंत्रता दिवस जोश और उत्साह के साथ मनाया। मुख्य अतिथि श्री निरंजन हेम्ब्रम का स्वागत प्रिंसिपल, शिक्षकों और छात्रों ने किया। विशेष अतिथियों में मंगलम कोलफील्ड प्राइवेट लिमिटेड के एमडी श्री यथेष्ट गर्ग और मैडम गर्ग और एसएमसी के अध्यक्ष श्री सोमनाथ शेखर शामिल थे। प्रिंसिपल डॉ. सत्यजीत होता ने स्वतंत्रता सेनानियों को पुष्पांजलि अर्पित की और राष्ट्रीय ध्वज फहराया। छात्रों द्वारा राष्ट्रगान गाया गया, जिसके बाद एसएमसी के अध्यक्ष ने स्वागत भाषण दिया, जिसमें उन्होंने अपना स्कूल की नैतिकता को व्यक्त किया और बताया कि कैसे प्रबंधन ने छात्रों को अंधेरे से प्रकाश की ओर अग्रसर किया है। डॉ. होता ने स्वतंत्रता दिवस के प्रसारण को स्वतंत्रता आंदोलन और तिरंगे झंडे का नेतृत्व करने वाले महान आत्माओं को समर्पित करके अपना भाषण शुरू किया। उन्होंने सदियों के विदेशी शासन से हमें मुक्त करने के लिए उन्हें श्रद्धा और कृतज्ञता के साथ याद किया। उन्होंने इस बात पर जोर दिया कि बलिदान आधुनिक दुनिया में समृद्धि और शांति लाने का एकमात्र तरीका है। माहौल देशभक्ति के नारों से भरा हुआ था, जिसमें "भारत माता की जय", "वंदे मातरम" और "जय हिंद" शामिल थे। भारत के 78वें स्वतंत्रता दिवस का जश्न मनाते हुए छात्र और अतिथि उत्साह और गर्व से भरे हुए थे। छात्रों द्वारा प्रस्तुत देशभक्ति गीत और नृत्य कार्यक्रम का मुख्य आकर्षण थे, जिसमें एक दिल को छू लेने वाला नृत्य-नाटिका भी शामिल थी, जिसमें एक सैनिक की जीवन यात्रा को दर्शाया गया था, जिसने दर्शकों को भावुक कर दिया। इस कार्यक्रम में छात्रों द्वारा प्रस्तुत कई कलात्मक प्रस्तुतियाँ शामिल थीं, जो देश की स्वतंत्रता और प्रिंसिपल द्वारा राष्ट्रीय ध्वज फहराने की याद दिलाती थीं। छात्रों की जीवंत पोशाक ने विविधता और सद्भाव में एकता को बढ़ावा दिया। प्रिंसिपल डॉ. सत्यजीत होता ने देश को आज जैसा बनाया है, उसमें स्वतंत्रता सेनानियों की महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका पर जोर दिया। उन्होंने सपनों को पूरा करने में कड़ी मेहनत, ईमानदारी और मूल्यों के महत्व पर प्रकाश डाला और छात्रों को महापुरुषों द्वारा किए गए बलिदानों की याद दिलाई। डॉ. होता ने शांति, ईमानदारी, ईमानदारी, देशभक्ति और भाईचारे के महत्व पर भी जोर दिया। उन्होंने विद्यार्थियों को इन गुणों को विकसित करने तथा राष्ट्र की स्वतंत्रता की रक्षा के लिए अखंडता के साथ एकजुट होने के लिए प्रोत्साहित किया। नर्सरी से यूकेजी तक के विद्यार्थियों द्वारा फैंसी ड्रेस का प्रदर्शन किया गया, जिसमें स्वतंत्रता सेनानी महात्मा गांधी, नेताजी सुभाष चंद्र बोस, महारानी लक्ष्मी बाई, भगत सिंह, डॉ. भीम राव अंबेडकर, मंगल पांडे, चंद्रशेखर आजाद, बाबा बिरसा मुंडा, सिद्धू, कान्हू, खुदीराम बोस, फूलो-झानो तथा अन्य वीर स्वतंत्रता सेनानियों की भूमिकाएं निभाई गईं, जिसे देखकर दर्शक मंत्रमुग्ध हो गए। राष्ट्र प्रेम के बारे में अंग्रेजी भाषण कक्षा दो के जीतराज शेखर, कक्षा चार के साहिद अफरीदी तथा हिंदी भाषण कक्षा दो की अवनी पांडे तथा कक्षा चार के मोहित रवानी ने दिया। एओपी के चेयरमैन श्री अशोक सिंह ने इस बात पर जोर दिया कि स्वतंत्रता कोई उपहार नहीं है, बल्कि अनेक बलिदानों के बाद प्राप्त होती है। उन्होंने विद्यार्थियों में देशभक्ति की भावना विकसित करने में विद्यालयों की महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका तथा राष्ट्र की स्वतंत्रता की रक्षा के लिए शिक्षकों एवं विद्यार्थियों की जिम्मेदारी पर प्रकाश डाला। विद्यालय के प्रधानाचार्य डॉ. सत्यजीत होता ने इस बात पर जोर दिया कि आज के बच्चे ही कल के भारत के भावी विकास के निर्माता हैं। उन्होंने इस बात पर जोर दिया कि अपनी स्वतंत्रता की सेवा करना और उसे बनाए रखना हमारी जिम्मेदारी है। उन्होंने शिक्षाविदों और सरकारी नीतियों की दूरदर्शिता के कारण ज्ञान समाज की ओर बढ़ते हुए शिक्षा में हुई प्रगति पर प्रकाश डाला। हालांकि, डॉ. होता ने कहा कि समाज के कमजोर वर्गों के कई बच्चे कुपोषित हैं और उनमें से केवल एक छोटा प्रतिशत ही 8 साल की संतोषजनक शिक्षा पूरी कर पाता है। उन्होंने इन बच्चों के बारे में विशेष रूप से सोचने की आवश्यकता पर बल दिया, जिनके लिए अपना स्कूल गुणवत्तापूर्ण शिक्षा प्रदान करने के लिए प्रतिबद्ध है। उन्होंने इस बात पर जोर दिया कि शिक्षा हर भारतीय बच्चे का मौलिक अधिकार है और गुणवत्तापूर्ण शिक्षा तक पहुंच की कमी के कारण लाखों बच्चों को आजीवन गरीबी में रहने के लिए मजबूर होना अस्वीकार्य है। डॉ. होता ने स्कूल की पहलों को रेखांकित किया, जिसमें शाम को गृह कार्य पूरा करने के लिए पर्यवेक्षण कक्षाएं, जेईई, एनईईटी और अन्य प्रतियोगी परीक्षाओं के लिए एकीकृत पाठ्यक्रम और सस्ती कीमत पर मूल्य-आधारित शिक्षा प्रदान करने की प्रतिबद्धता शामिल है। उन्होंने नालंदा और तक्षशिला के उदाहरणों का हवाला देते हुए भारत की समृद्ध शैक्षिक विरासत पर प्रकाश डाला और भारत को ज्ञान समाज में आगे बढ़ाने, रचनात्मकता और स्वतंत्र सोच को बढ़ावा देने के लिए अपना स्कूल को एक वाहन बनाने की आवश्यकता पर जोर दिया। कार्यक्रम का समापन सम्मान समारोह के साथ हुआ, जिसमें पीरियोडिक टेस्ट-1 के टॉपर्स को पुरस्कार दिए गए, तथा गैर-शिक्षण कर्मचारियों को उनकी कड़ी मेहनत और समर्पण के लिए सम्मानित किया गया। कार्यक्रम के समापन पर राष्ट्रीय गीत गाया गया।
