Desire, Guidance, and Environment are three key mantras for academic success. One reason that students ply for different cities to prepare for competitive examinations is to get better environment and guidance. Apart from the desire and guidance, an academic environment is very important. Guidance can be received now a days through technology as many beautifully designed courses are available online in very nominal price, however getting environment is costly and not possible for everyone. Keeping this in mind Apna School has taken an initiative to provide access to the school premises beyond the school hours to students preparing for competitive exams under the Eklavya Study Programme. Students can come to the school beyond the school hours and do self-study. The Eklavya Study Program is a non-profitable program of Apna School, and no fees needs to be paid by the students. However, programme management and operational cost, such as, electricity, cleaning, etc. should be managed by the students only. Also, if students demand for digital competitive classes or mentors for their guidance, the cost will be borne by them. The fee collections and maintaining the account for the same will be done by students and for this a student body will be formed. The school’s role is only as a facilitator and provide infrastructure facilities.
